Capacity

The difference in the water reservoir in the Keurig K475 vs. K575 is worth noting.

The water reservoir in the K475 can hold up to 70 ounces of water and the water reservoir in the K575 can hold up to 80 ounces of water.

Feel like you’re always filling the coffee maker? You can make over 10 cups of coffee with the K575 and still not have to refill the water reservoir. 

Design

The Keurig K475 and K575 are just about identical in appearance. Like most Keurig coffee makers they’re aesthetically pleasing. 

Both are the same size. They both have the same control placements and the same cup holder.

So where’s the difference in design?

The K575 is mostly gray in color where the K475 comes in both black and white.

Both have color touch screens on the top but the K575 has a wider screen for easier use 2.4 inches vs. 2.8 inches.

Features

Both the K475 and K575 are extremely easy to operate but there are a couple key differences in their features. 

The K575 adds customizable wallpaper and our favorite, a nightlight. Sure, a nightlight might sound a little over the top but, you can choose from multiple colors and when you’re stumbling into your kitchen half asleep in the morning it comes in quite handy. 

You can buy either coffee maker with confidence knowing you'll have support from Keurig. From maintenance to troubleshooting they have a solid reputation for standing behind their products.

The K475 has a lot to offer both in technical functions and options. Even with the plentiful options the control panel is easy to use. 

It’s compatible with K-Cups, K-Mug, My K-Cup and the K-Carafe. Although, it doesn’t come with a K-Carafe which is sort of a fail on Keurig’s part in our humble opinion.

We love that it offers the ability to set your favorite brew. It doesn’t get much easier than coming back and hitting a button to return to your most used setting. Even better, it will be brewed in under a minute.

Verdict

The K475 has a lot to offer, and it costs less than the K575 but, for the lower price you do lose some features. Are those features something you need from your coffee maker? Only you can answer that!

The K575 is an upgraded version of the K475 and for that reason we’re not going to bore you with repeating the same features again. Just know that the K575 has everything the K475 has and more.

The 2.8 vs. the 2.4 inch color touch display screen is easy to navigate and aside from allowing you to set your desired size and strength it also allows you to utilize options like the energy saver mode, auto K-Carafe, and the auto on/off feature.

Verdict

The K575 is fully loaded. It’s a newer and improved model with more customization options both for your coffee and the functionality of the machine.
 

The Keurig K475 vs. K575 shows they have more similarities than differences. So how do you decide?

If you want the best Keurig on the market the K575 is your machine. The only one we might argue to say is a contender for the number one spot is the K550. It has an iced setting and a 75 ounce water reservoir.

K475 vs K575 all comes down to whether or not you feel the additional features the K575 offers are worth the extra price to you. 

If the larger water reservoir and display screen, automatic hot water, customizable wallpaper, and nightlight are features you can live without, the K475 is still a top of the line single serve coffee maker.

You won’t be sacrificing on the ability to select your size, strength, and temperature if you select the K475. 

The K475 and K575 are part of the Keurig 2.0 plus series which means they’re on the newer end of the market. They both offer a generous amount of features for brewing at home or in the office. It’s like choosing between a Bentley and a Rolls Royce, you really can’t go wrong.

Each machine is made for someone who loves the convenience of K-Cups but still wants the flexibility to brew different strengths, sizes, and when needed brew more than one cup at a time.
